2008 PRO Preparation Checklist

1. Review the Preview, Registration, and Orientation (PRO) confirmation brochure and program schedule before attending program.

  • Bring a list of questions you may have about Missouri University of Science & Technology.
  • Review algebra and trigonometry for placement testing during Preview.
  • Please note that calculators are not allowed.

 2. Review student housing information

Tour Residence Halls and Greek Houses while attending Preview and Registration program.  You may want to come a day early or stay an extra day for your PRO day to have time to preview Residence Halls and Greek Houses.

3. Submit Free Application for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to the processor. Priority deadline before March 1, 2008. For questions contact Student Financial Assistance Office 1-800-522-0938 or (573) 341-4282 or sfa@mst.edu..

 4. Provide medical history and measles immunization forms to Student Health Services by August 16.

 5. Request official transcripts of your Advanced Placement and/or college courses be sent to Office of Admission by early summer. The University cannot make this request for you.

6. Receive Fall Semester Fee Statement on-line in late June (scholarships and financial aid will be deducted from total fees).

Minimum of 1/5th of your unpaid balance is due to the Cashier's Office by July 15, 2008.

7. Participate in Opening Week Orientation, August 16-23.

Move in Residence Hall and/or Greek House before program begins. The residence halls will open Saturday, August 16 at 8:00 a.m.

8. For more information on Quizzing Out, Advanced Placement, CLEP Credit, or College Credit in
English 20, Math 8, Spanish, French or other subjects contact the Testing Office at (573) 341-4222.

9. Fall classes begin Monday, August 25, 2008.
