An opportunity for students who are receiving the Kummer Vanguard Scholars Scholarship to learn more about the program and meet with current Kummer Vanguard Scholars. This session will provide greater insight into the required events and activities, as well as allow time for incoming scholars to ask questions of the Kummer Student Programs staff.

Student Financial Services provide an overview to help new students and their parents understand the financial aid awarding and billing processes.  This session will include instructions on how parents obtain access to view their student's statements, information on the billing cycles, and explanations of both federal and university-sponsored financial aid.

Experiential Learning is an integral part of the Missouri S&T education.  Learn how Undergraduate Research encourages the interaction of undergraduate students with faculty, demonstrates that teaching and research are compatible and mutually reinforcing, and helps students superior choices for future employment or graduate programs.

Missouri S&T Study Abroad currently sends and hosts students from more than 90 partner universities in over 35 countries. Our goal is to promote cultural awareness and understanding between our students on campus and across the world, and studying abroad is a great way of doing this!

Transitioning to college becomes even more challenging when a student's family does not have as large of a knowledge base to support them on their journey. Trailblazer scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend.

Transferring colleges can be a complex process. You aren't a first-time freshman, but you are also new to the area and the university. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible. In this session, we will include general transfer reminders along with off-campus housing options, job opportunities, and how common campus experiences may look for transfer students.
