International students and scholars can apply for a Missouri Drivers License in order to drive while living in the United States.
A social security number is required for students who wish to work during their time in the United States. Students should be in the U.S. for at least 10 days before applying for a social security number.
International students wishing to travel outside of the United States during their academic program must obtain travel authorization from the Office of International Affairs.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states that "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." Students will be required to complete Title IX training at the start of their degree program with Missouri S&T.
